Day off

I had today off; I spent the past twelve days working and just needed a little longer than a weekend to recoup.

I didn’t do much. I woke up, had coffee, watched CNBC , took a nap, and then spent some time taking a few photos. I already posted the Lola photos. I need to post the flower photos.

I also spent a bit of time working on my Beachbody Coaching business.

I adopted a puppy back in February. I didn’t think it’d be a big deal; how hard could raising a puppy be? If I only knew then what I know now.

I got her when she was about four weeks old. A tiny little spit fire of disobedience. She is adorable but extremely trying.

When she came home from the pound she was all of three pounds. Her belly was full of worms, and she had kennel cough. I’m glad to say that she’s worm and kennel cough free and she’s six times her size.

Lola is a Beagle and Jack Russell mix. She has the nose of a Beagle and the energy of a Jack Russell. She wears me out.

We’ve had some vet issues with her vaccines. She just had her last lepto vaccine on Wednesday. Hopefully that means were out of the woods.

Today I finished buying all of the stuff I needed for the p90x program. I did the fit test, and was happy that while I couldn’t do the required number of pull-ups, I passed everything else. January 3, 2011 starts the first day Chest & Back and Ab Ripper X.

I figured starting on a Monday would be good; it’s the start of the week, and it will help me keep on track.

I have less than 90 days to the cruise, but if all goes well, I can finish there and post my after pics.

I doubt I will be posting my before photos (to be honest, I have yet to take them, I will do it in the morning).

In an effort to keep myself honest, I’ll give my initial fit test stats:

Age: 30

Height: 68 inches

Weight: 219 lbs

Body Fat (Used the Navy Method): 33.67%

Pull-Ups: 0

Vertical Reach: 84 inches

Jump: 90 inches

Push-Ups: 17

Toe Touch: -2

Wall Squat: 65

Bicep Curls: 20 Reps X 10 Weight

In & Outs: 30

So, mostly not bad, but lots of work to do…
