these next few days I have been fortunate enough to get time off from work.  i am going to keep a full schedule which can include:

  • the gym
  • photography
  • finish reading - swish, engulfed, and start on i am not myself

other than that, i just want to enjoy my time off and really get back into some of the things i’ve let slide lately.  i do have one confession, i am finding it increasingly difficult to read for pleasure.  the past four years i have read textbook after textbook and reading for pleasure has become something foreign.  i hope to change that with this week.

McDonald’s cups are NOT fucking used as drinking cups after you’ve finished.  Washing them and reusing them day after day is beyond me and it drives me up a fucking wall… Yes, I am looking at you..

plethora of gay movies

I recently begun watching a lot of gay theme movies from netflix.  It’s easy, add whatever gay movie I want to my list, return and presto a day later I have another one in my mailbox.

To be honest, I don’t think that there are not that many great gay films.  I can count on two hands the ones that I can watch over and over again.  I mean there’s not a Brokeback Mountain made every year nor is there a Latterdays or Another Gay Movie.  Classics of gay cinema.

One of the movies I begun watching is OpenCam.  Basically the premise is there have been a string of murders and they are all linked to one very hunky Andreau Thomas:

He plays the classic disturbed artist, with friend problems, and an addiction to a cam hookup site.

I won’t go into details about the movie, because I think it is one of the few worth seeing.

Gym Routine

Tomorrow I am starting a new gym routine.  I am slightly nervous as it is a boot-camp type situation and starts at six am.  It meets three days per week; Monday, Wednesday and Friday.  In addition I am trying to do the whole Body for Life program.  I want to use the boot-camp to hone in on my endurance, and the nutrition/lifting advice to propel myself forward.  I know it will be tough, but it’s something I want to do to try and improve myself.
