There. I said it. I admitted one of my greatest flaws. I am addicted to technology. To gadgets and gizmo’s anything that could be perceived as a gadget. I almost instantly fawn over. It doesn’t matter if it is apple or not (however; I do admit to being a fanboy) if it’s new and hot I have to have it. I needed the razr when it came out, I’ve had four computers in the past year, I grew tired of the razr and thought about switching out of the AT&T service to try out Helio. I read engadget, gizmodo, tuaw, appleinsider, macrumors, boywonder, and paulstamatiou daily. To assist in my working out, I bought a polar fitness watch, that integrates online to track my workout progress and I even bought the nike+ ipod sports kit to “motivate” myself in my training. People often ask my opinion before their next big purchase and i simply have to live upto my name. How could I become analog when I go by digital?
What better feeling in the world is there when you can take your latest acquisition home and rip it open to unearth the goodness that comes out of its technology core. How sad is it when you can recognize that the sweet smell of new electronics varies from corporation to corporation? Arguably admitting that apple has the best smelling new electronics hands down.
Yes, I know some fun poking at myself but it is something I realize. I am addicted to technology and if you’d like to help cure my addiction please paypal me to start the first technology addicts anonymous in Columbus, Ohio. Of course, if there was truly an influx of paypal cash don’t kid yourself. I’d be heading right down to the apple store to buy another piece of sweet, sweet electronics to hold me over until the next big thing.
