Why are people are so enthralled with knowing what celebrity is gay? I mean I understand that it may validate some and further our acceptance if people were to just come out of the closet. But where do we limit what is private with celebrities and what deserves to be fair game?

I admit, I’ve been reading the celeb blogs and they have for years made mention upon mention of Lance being gay. They’ve gone to posting photos of him in gay bars and with his rumored boyfriend. I want to know exactly, how is that any of our business? I’m not friends with Lance and I am sure the bloggers are not either so what degree of authority do they have to discus his personal business?

If he’s gay good for him let him address it how he wants. Sometimes we can’t accept the fact that ultimately there is a level of privacy that we’re unwilling to accept with people.
