it’s been a month or so
I’ve not updated in a while. Not for a lack of not having things to talk about more so just trying to focus on getting somethings in order.
The lump in my limp is not cancerous but it will still be removed relatively soon as well as my wisdom teeth. I’ve been getting the necessary paperwork in order and trying to plan out the right time to have the operation done.
In less than two weeks I will be running my first 5K. I think the timing is terrible though. I’ve been sick for the past week while missing two days of work. Which means I’ve not been to the gym for a while, and I am sure I will pay for it. Because I have a quick turn around time for this 5K. I plan on hitting the gym all five days and then running on the road on the weekend. It will be tough but it’s something I said i wanted to do so now I have to put my money where my mouth is.
This finance class I originally looked forward to. I thought it might be something more interesting and applicable than my econ or accting classes. However the instructor we have has been the worst i’ve experienced. He said in the beginning of the class that one person would get an A, one person would get a D and the rest B’s. In the beginning I was horrified with the thought of a B. Now, I am welcoming the B.
This past class, he told us to pay attention to the powerpoint as it is what we will be tested over. I took the quiz and there were only three questions that came from the powerpoint and the rest came from the text book (which none of us read). The thing that I hate about this program is that you have no ability to choose a professor. In a typical undergraduate career if you hear of a horrid professor you don’t take their class, unfortunately with this program they just throw an instructor at you and you do your best in the class.
It has made me think quite a bit if I want to continue in through the MBA program.
I purchased a new mac mini. I’ve sold a ton of my other stuff so it all balances out. I do have to say I’m quite impressed with the speed and power of the mini. I love Front Row. iLife 06 is quite impressive. I wouldn’t use iWeb but it is certainly an option for someone who wants a quick and easy web page.
Well thats it for now. I have a take home finance final to work on.
Clearing out some Apple Stuff
Hello all,
I have an Apple bluetooth keyboard and mouse i’d like to part with. They’ve been lightly used and will be cleaned before sending. I prefer the wired keyboard and mouse so there is nothing wrong with these. Normally these two items together would be close to 120 bucks. I’d like to sell them for 70. I still have the boxes they came in.
